Jewellery After consultation with our parents; it is the school’s policy that our children should not wear jewellery – except watches and small stud earrings. It is the recommendation of the Sheffield Education Authority that no jewellery should be worn for P.E. The Sheffield Policy also states that taping earrings is not an effective protection against being hit by a ball or flailing arms. If you are planning to have your child’s ears pierced then we recommend that you wait until the beginning of the summer holiday to give it time to heal so that earrings can be removed for P.E. lessons.
